Why this page suits ages 3–4
At three, a page that can be counted is worth two that cannot:
- round spots to fill one at a time — each one a small finishable job,
- a split back — a clear middle line, an easy symmetry cue,
- a large body outline — the reward after the spots.
💬 Tip for grown-ups
Count the spots out loud as each one gets coloured. Counting things that are already there is the easiest early maths there is.
