Why this page suits ages 2–3
Long narrow shapes are a new problem at two, and these are a gentle version:
- two long ears — narrow, but big enough to succeed at,
- a round body and tail — the easy part to come back to,
- a simple face — nothing smaller than an eye.
💬 Tip for grown-ups
Colouring inside a long narrow shape is harder than a round one. If the ears go badly, say nothing and point back at the body.
