Why this page suits ages 2–3
Toddlers colour with the shoulder, not the fingers. Mina is drawn for that:
- three large areas — head, body, tail,
- thick closed outlines — nothing leaks into anything else,
- simple triangle ears — the first corners a child has to steer around.
💬 Tip for grown-ups
Let them scribble over the whole cat in one colour first. Filling a shape edge to edge is a skill of its own, and it comes before choosing colours.
