Why this page suits ages 3–4
A butterfly is the simplest way to introduce symmetry, so this one keeps it visible:
- matching left and right sections — an invitation to copy one side onto the other,
- large wing areas — big enough that matching is actually achievable,
- a thick body outline — the middle line the eye uses as a mirror.
💬 Tip for grown-ups
Color one wing together, then let your child do the other one alone. Comparing the two at the end is more interesting to a child than any praise you could give.
