Why this page suits ages 3–4
A mane is where most lion coloring pages get too hard. This one is drawn the other way round:
- the mane is a few large shapes — not fine hair lines a preschooler cannot follow,
- a clear, friendly face — a child colors a face they can read,
- a big body outline — room for long, sweeping strokes.
💬 Tip for grown-ups
Let the mane be any color at all. A purple lion is not a mistake — at this age, choosing the color yourself is the part that builds confidence.
