Why this page suits ages 2–3
At two, a child is still moving from scribbling to deliberate coloring. So Ben has:
- extra-thick outlines — the shape still reads even when the crayon wanders,
- three large areas — head, body, ears, so the page feels finished fast,
- no small details — nothing a toddler has to aim at.
💬 Tip for grown-ups
Skip the crayons for the first round and use chunky markers — they need almost no pressure, so a two-year-old's hand does not tire out after a minute.
