Why this page suits ages 4–5
Stripes that follow a curved surface are a real step up from straight bands:
- stripes that bend with the body — the hand has to follow a curve, not a ruler,
- narrow gaps between them — genuine precision work,
- a large face — a broad area to come back to when the stripes get tiring.
💬 Tip for grown-ups
If the stripes get skipped, leave it. A tiger with three stripes and a well-coloured face is a finished page; a perfect one that was abandoned is not.
