Why this page suits ages 3–4
Feelings pages are conversation tools first and drawings second:
- a clear, unmistakable expression — no ambiguity about what this face means,
- the body showing it too — arms and posture, not only the mouth,
- large simple areas — quick to finish so the talking can start.
💬 Tip for grown-ups
Ask what makes them look like that. Naming a feeling while looking at a picture of it is far easier for a three-year-old than being asked how they feel.
