Why this page suits ages 6–8
This page works on two levels at once, which is why it suits a wide range of six- to eight-year-olds:
- a simple, large horse — easy to finish, so there is always a result,
- a meadow packed with small flowers — as much fine detail as a child wants to take on,
- a flowing mane and tail — strokes that follow the direction the hair falls.
