Why this page suits ages 6–8
Two very different things on one page: an animal and a built object:
- striped poles — straight rigid lines and alternating bands,
- a horse in mid-air — a curved body in an unusual position,
- a rider leaning forward — a small figure that has to look balanced.
💬 Tip for grown-ups
Do the poles with a ruler if your child wants to. Using a tool for the straight bits and freehand for the animal is a real distinction worth making.
