Why this page suits ages 3–4
A bicycle is a page of lines rather than areas, which is a different job:
- two large wheels — circles with spokes to follow,
- a frame made of straight bars — thin shapes to colour along,
- a basket — one enclosed area, with a woven pattern.
💬 Tip for grown-ups
Trace round a wheel with a finger a few times first. That circular sweep is the movement behind the letters o, a and c later on.
