Why this page suits ages 6–8
A mandala built from natural shapes rather than geometry:
- organic shapes in rings — softer and more forgiving than geometric mandalas,
- several distinct plant types — each one can take its own colour,
- a dense centre — the finest work is in the middle.
💬 Tip for grown-ups
Suggest doing a forest that is not green — autumn, or entirely blue. Breaking the obvious colour rule on purpose is where children discover they have taste.
