Why this page suits ages 3–4
Three-year-olds notice the animals they meet on a walk. This one has:
- a huge tail — space to try more than one colour,
- an acorn in the paws — a clear centre to the picture,
- a branch with leaves — simple background, nothing crowded.
💬 Tip for grown-ups
In autumn, go and find a real acorn after colouring. Connecting the page to something in a pocket is what makes it stick.
