Fall coloring pages

Jumping into a pile of leaves, a squirrel holding an acorn, a hedgehog, a deer in a clearing with leaves coming down, and a forest path with a mushroom beside it. 19 fall coloring pages — autumn, if that is your word for it — free to print.

Each one is a PDF for A4 or US Letter, with no sign-up. Every page is drawn for a single age band, shown beside it, so you can match the page to the child rather than to the season. The simpler pages have one big subject and thick outlines. The forest scenes have several animals and smaller areas, and suit kindergarten age. Fall is a good excuse to put out a short set of crayons — yellow, orange, red, brown — and see what a child does with only those. Bring a few real leaves to the table to compare.

Questions parents ask

What if my child will not finish the whole picture?

That is normal, especially at three and four. Pick a page from a younger age band, or colour just one thing — the hedgehog, say — and leave the rest for another day.

Can I print these for a classroom?

Yes. Print as many copies as you need for the children in your care. You may not resell the files or republish them on another site.
