Mandala coloring pages for kids
Flowers, butterflies, leaves, a sunflower, a rose, a forest, a horse and a tree of life. 16 mandala coloring pages for children, free to print as PDFs with no sign-up.
These are drawn for ages 6 to 8. A mandala is made of small cells that repeat around a centre, and it asks for a steady hand and some patience — expect one to last two sittings. What a child is really doing is planning: which colours, in what order, and how to keep the pattern going all the way round. Starting from the middle or from the edge both work. Use thin pencils or fine-tip markers; a chunky crayon will not fit the cells. For a younger child a mandala is usually the wrong page, however pretty it looks. The detail discourages more than it delights, and a page drawn for their own age will go better.

What age are these mandalas for?
Ages 6 to 8. For a younger child, pick a page from their own age band instead — the small cells stop being fun quickly.
What should we colour them with?
Thin coloured pencils or fine-tip markers. Chunky crayons will not fit into the small cells.
Does a mandala have to be coloured symmetrically?
No. But repeating the colours around the circle gives a child a clear rule to follow, and the finished page looks complete.
