Why this page suits ages 4–5
This page has:
- a braided pattern — a repeating shape that quietly trains an even hand,
- round eggs — small closed areas, each with a pattern of its own,
- pussy willow catkins — dozens of little ovals for fine, careful strokes.
💬 Tip for grown-ups
Save the eggs for last. After the big basket the hand is warmed up and the small patterns come out far neater.
