Ages 4–5🔢 Number dot-to-dot

Dot-to-dot train – join the numbers 1–20, ages 4–5

Twenty dots that make a steam engine with a chimney and a cab. The tracks and the smoke are already drawn; the wheels and the window are the child's to add.

Done — the sheet is in your downloads

In the print dialog choose actual size (100 %) and black and white. Add a thick triangular crayon.

Why is this sheet for ages 4–5?

Vertical and horizontal strokes, and twenty numbers in order.

  • Numbers 1–20 and nothing but straight lines – up, down, across.
  • A square outline holds the stroke: the child learns to stop right on the dot.
  • The wheels and window are the child's to draw – they finish it their way.

💬 Tip for parents

Straight lines come out better when the paper is taped to the table. No ruler – a freehand line is the goal. If there is appetite left, add carriages behind the engine on a blank sheet.
