Why is this sheet for ages 4–5?

The first half of the alphabet on one sheet, with the order and direction of every stroke.

  • Thirteen letters A–M, each one three times in its row.
  • 18 mm tall between the lines – moving towards writing-book size.
  • Numbered arrows: the child sees where each letter begins.

💬 Tip for parents

One row a day is enough; five rows at once makes the hand ache. With E and F the order often gets swapped – the vertical stroke always comes first. Have the child read the finished row out loud, so the shape sticks to the sound.
