Christmas tracing lines – pre-writing paths to the tree, ages 3–4

Four wide paths with Christmas pictures: the present goes straight to the tree, the sled rides over the hills, the snowflake falls in a wavy line and the star flies in a zigzag. The paths are 13 mm wide, enough for a thick crayon.

Done — the sheet is in your downloads

In the print dialog choose actual size (100 %) and black and white. Add a thick triangular crayon.

Why is this sheet for ages 3–4?

Wide paths and four basic strokes: the child draws from left to right and doesn't have to be precise.

  • Paths 13 mm wide – room for a thick triangular crayon.
  • Four strokes from the easiest: straight line, arches, wave and zigzag.
  • Left to right, the same direction as writing later on.

💬 Tip for parents

Let the child trace each path with a finger first and say who is going where. Then the crayon. Leaving the path is fine – what matters is getting all the way to the picture at the end.
