Ages 3–4🎄 Christmas

Decorate the Christmas tree – tracing circles, ages 3–4

A big Christmas tree with seven ornaments and a star to trace. The ornaments are circles drawn as dotted lines; after tracing, the child colors them and can add ornaments of their own.

In the print dialog choose actual size (100 %) and black and white. Add a thick triangular crayon.

Why is this sheet for ages 3–4?

A circle is the first closed shape a three-year-old can manage. Here they practice it on ornaments of different sizes.

  • Seven circles of different sizes – a round wrist movement.
  • The star on top is a harder task for those who want more.
  • Free space for the child's own ornaments: they finish the sheet their way.

💬 Tip for parents

It's fine if a circle isn't round or closed. Show the movement in the air first: “round we go, back to where we started”. Leave the coloring for another time if attention runs out.
