Why is this sheet for ages 4–5?

A heart is a round shape with no corners – between the dots the child draws a slightly curved line, not a straight one. That is a step from dot-to-dot towards drawing.

  • Number sequence to 10 on a round shape.
  • Slightly curved lines between dots.
  • The finished sheet has a purpose: a card for someone.

💬 Tip for parents

Suggest who the heart is for – a task with a purpose holds attention longer. If they join with straight lines, fine; the heart will be “angular” and just as lovely.
