Why is this sheet for ages 3–4?

Dots in a circle are the easiest for small children: the next number is always next door and no line crosses another. Six extends counting one past five.

  • Six dots around a circle – no crossing.
  • One number more than the house: gradual progression.
  • Colouring adds small finger movements.

💬 Tip for parents

Once the child manages 1–5, this is the natural next step. Say out loud “after five comes six” – once is enough.
