Why is this sheet for ages 5–6?

The numerals 6 to 10 have curves and loops that need a steadier hand, so they come after 1–5.

  • Stroke: a curve down from the top that closes into a loop at the bottom.
  • Numeral and amount side by side: six flowers in the box show what 6 means.
  • Three rows from easier to harder: trace, trace and try, write from the start dot only.

💬 Tip for parents

Say the number out loud and show it on your fingers. Let your child trace the model with a finger first. Watch where the stroke starts: at the brown dot. A backwards numeral is common at this age – don't cross it out, show the model and try again together.
