Ages 5–6🔟 Number tracing
Number 7 tracing worksheet for ages 5–6
Number 7: a line across, then a slant down – one stroke. Next to the model there are seven balls to count and color, and below it three rows to trace.
Done — the sheet is in your downloads
In the print dialog choose actual size (100 %) and black and white. Add a thick triangular crayon.
Why is this sheet for ages 5–6?
The numerals 6 to 10 have curves and loops that need a steadier hand, so they come after 1–5.
- Stroke: a line across, then a slant down – one stroke.
- Numeral and amount side by side: seven balls in the box show what 7 means.
- Three rows from easier to harder: trace, trace and try, write from the start dot only.
💬 Tip for parents
Count the pictures in the box first, with a finger on each one. Then the numeral: the big model with a finger, then with a crayon. One row a day is enough. Praise a correct start, not neatness.
