Ages 4–5🔟 Number tracing
Numbers 1–5 tracing and counting for ages 4–5
Five rows, five numbers. In each row the child counts the pictures, traces the numeral three times and tries it once alone.
Done — the sheet is in your downloads
In the print dialog choose actual size (100 %) and black and white. Add a thick triangular crayon.
Why is this sheet for ages 4–5?
A review sheet: it ties amount to numeral for every number from 1 to 5 at once.
- Each row has one more picture. The child sees that the next number means one more.
- The pictures sit in a line, easy to touch one by one.
- The last numeral in each row is only a dot: a check on whether the shape has stuck.
💬 Tip for parents
This sheet works best after the single-number sheets. Count out loud with a finger on each picture. If one numeral is a struggle, go back to its own sheet with the big model. The rows don't all have to be done in one sitting.
