Why is this sheet for ages 3–4?

Joining three, four and eight dots without numbers: the child follows the hint and learns that straight lines make a shape. Naming shapes is the basis of geometry and of letters.

  • Shapes from straight lines – triangle, square, circle.
  • No numbers: just follow the hint.
  • Counting the dots as a bonus.

💬 Tip for parents

Name the shape after it is drawn (“what is it? … a square!”). Then hunt for shapes at home: a window is a square, a plate a circle, a roof a triangle.
