Why is this sheet for ages 3–4?

Two dead ends and a wide path: an easy sheet on which the child finds out that sometimes you have to go back.

  • A 5×4 grid with paths 26 mm wide.
  • A route of 8 squares with two dead ends.
  • No animal on this one: it works for children who are not into animals.

💬 Tip for parents

Good for a rainy afternoon when the playground is out. An older child can describe the route out loud first – “right, down, right” – which trains both direction words and speech.
