First and last name in capital letters to trace – ages 5–6
The first row has the sample first name EMMA, the second the last name MILLER, both to trace and then to write from the dots. Below are two empty lined rows with 14 mm letters, and an alphabet strip at the bottom as a hint.

Why is this sheet for ages 5–6?
A full name at kindergarten size – what the child will write at the top of every worksheet in first grade.
- Two model rows: the first name and the last name separately.
- Two empty lined rows, letters 14 mm tall.
- An alphabet strip for the letters a last name needs.
💬 Tip for parents
A last name is longer and is usually the first thing a child gives up on – write it in pencil on the first empty row and let them trace it. Keep both names in capitals until school starts cursive. Keep the finished sheet and hand out the same one in three months; the difference is usually obvious at a glance.
