Ages 5–6🔤 Letter tracing
Letter C tracing worksheet for ages 5–6
Uppercase C: one curve that starts near the top right and circles back to the left. The sheet has a big model with arrows, a row to trace, a row to try alone and the words CAT, CAR and CAKE.
Done — the sheet is in your downloads
In the print dialog choose actual size (100 %) and black and white. Add a thick triangular crayon.
Why is this sheet for ages 5–6?
C has a curve. A curve needs a smooth stroke and more finger control than a straight line, so it comes after the straight-line capitals.
- Strokes: one curve that starts near the top right and circles back to the left.
- The model shows stroke order and direction: top to bottom and left to right, the way print is taught in school.
- The words CAT, CAR and CAKE give the letter a sound and a meaning – trace them and read them together.
💬 Tip for parents
One sheet, five minutes, a thick triangular crayon. If C is in your child's name or a family member's, say so – it will matter more at once. Praise starting at the dot and following the arrow, not how the letter looks.
