Straight-line lowercase letters l, i, t, v, x – ages 3–4
Five rows, each with one lowercase letter made of straight lines only: l, i, t, v and x. The letter repeats five times to trace, and the rest of the row carries starting dots so the child can try it alone. The model shows numbered strokes and arrows.

Why is this sheet for ages 3–4?
Small letters where the hand never turns a corner – the first ones a child can write.
- Five letters that need only straight strokes, down and slanted.
- The difference between l (up to the top line) and i (only to the middle) is there to see.
- 20 mm tall between the lines, traced five times and then written alone.
💬 Tip for parents
Point out the difference between l and i at the start: both are one straight stroke, but one begins at the top line and one halfway down. The dot over the i usually comes out far too big – call it a seed, not a circle. Five rows at once is too many; two is plenty.
