Ages 3–4🔤 Letter tracing

Curved letters C, O, S, U, G to trace – ages 3–4

Five rows, each with one curved letter: C, O, S, U and G. They all start at the dot on top and go counter-clockwise – the same movement that lower-case a, c and o need later. The model carries an arrow with the direction.

In the print dialog choose actual size (100 %) and black and white. Add a thick triangular crayon.

Why is this sheet for ages 3–4?

Curved letters lead the hand in one flowing stroke without lifting the crayon.

  • Five curved letters, each one stroke from the dot on top.
  • Counter-clockwise direction – the base for later handwriting.
  • 22 mm tall, traced twice first, then written alone.

💬 Tip for parents

Try the movement in the air with the whole arm before doing it on paper. The letter S is the hardest of the five – leave it for last, or skip it for today. If the child circles clockwise, turn the paper and watch whether the movement comes easier that way; the direction can be corrected later.
