In the print dialog choose actual size (100 %) and black and white. Add a thick triangular crayon.

Why is this sheet for ages 5–6?

A long straight line across the whole picture means holding a direction over many snips. Building the puzzle adds the number sequence to five.

  • Four long straight cuts.
  • Numbers 1–5 on the strips: putting them in order.
  • A home-made puzzle to glue on paper or keep in an envelope.

💬 Tip for parents

For a harder version, build the picture without the numbers: fold them back. Keep the strips in an envelope and the puzzle lasts. Heavier paper (cardstock) is easier to cut and to handle.
