Why is this sheet for ages 3–4?
A seasonal motif holds a three-year-old's attention longer than an abstract line. Hedgehogs and leaves are also a theme they know from nursery and walks.

💬 Tip for parents
Act out the hedgehog before drawing: how it rolls, how it walks through the leaves. Whole-body movement before hand movement is the best warm-up for three-year-olds. The sheet also works as an autumn craft — the child can glue real leaves instead of coloring.
