In the print dialog choose actual size (100 %) and black and white. Add a thick triangular crayon.

Why is this sheet for ages 5–6?

Scaling the stroke down to letter size: the same movement as before, in a narrow path.

  • Eights 48 mm wide, loops 11 mm – close to handwriting size.
  • A 5 mm path: the hand holds the line with the wrist resting on the paper.
  • Four long strokes across the full width of the page.

💬 Tip for parents

Watch for smoothness rather than accuracy – a line that stopped shows up as a thicker spot. If the loops run together, have the child slow down and count out loud. A thin pencil works better here than a wax crayon.
