Both hands at once – mirrored strokes, ages 5–6

Two mirrored spirals and three pairs of paths from the middle out to the edges: a wave, loops and arches. Both hands draw a mirror image at the same time. The path is 5 to 5.5 mm wide.

Why is this sheet for ages 5–6?

The hardest version of the exercise: mirrored strokes in a narrow path, two spirals included.

  • Two spirals at once – each hand draws its own, mirrored.
  • Three pairs of strokes from the middle out: a wave, loops and arches.
  • A narrow 5 mm path, the same on both sides of the page.

💬 Tip for parents

Start with the spirals while the hand is fresh. Have the child look at the middle of the sheet rather than at one hand – that keeps the symmetry on its own. When the sheet is done, try the same strokes in the air with both hands and eyes closed.
