Warm-up before writing – five exercises on one page, ages 5–6

Why is this sheet for ages 5–6?

Five strokes in a set order: from circling to the shapes that appear inside letters.

  • Five exercises in a fixed order – ready to use every day before writing.
  • A narrow 5 mm path: the hand can already stay inside it.
  • Each row is one stroke from edge to edge.

💬 Tip for parents

Use the sheet as a warm-up before handwriting practice or homework, every day if you like. Print it more than once; the child can keep score of how many times they finished it. For more, go through the rows again with the other hand.
