Why is this sheet for ages 5–6?

The numeral, the word and the spoken number together: three faces of the same number.

  • Ten pairs in two columns, words in print letters between guide lines.
  • Every letter starts from a dot.
  • The words run from one to ten – the row can be read off the sheet.

💬 Tip for parents

Tracing words doubles as handwriting practice: watch the grip and the stroke direction, not the accuracy. If the child does not read yet, read the word aloud and let them repeat it – remembering it as a shape is enough at this age. Anyone keen can write the words once more on blank paper.
