Why is this sheet for ages 4–5?

A long cut across the page is different work from short snips: the scissors have to keep going while the paper slides through.

  • Two long cuts across the sheet: the hand learns to feed the paper.
  • The numbers help with building and with talking about order.
  • Colouring it first gives the sheet a second life.

💬 Tip for parents

Let the child colour the picture before any cutting, a finished puzzle is easier to rebuild. Keep the pieces in an envelope and take them out again a week later. For more pieces, fold the sheet and cut along the fold.
