In the print dialog choose actual size (100 %) and black and white. Add a thick triangular crayon.

Why is this sheet for ages 3–4?

First cutting is one squeeze of the scissors. The strip is narrow enough for a single snip to cut right through, so the child sees a result at once.

  • One snip = one finished piece. Success comes straight away.
  • A wide grey line: close enough is good enough.
  • The cut-off pictures can be glued on paper or sorted.

💬 Tip for parents

Prepare the strips beforehand. Scissors: thumb on top, the other hand holds the strip. Show “open – shut” like a crocodile's mouth. Glue the pictures on paper together afterwards. Cutting happens at the table and only with you.
