Why is this sheet for ages 3–4?

The diagonal line is the hardest of the basic strokes for a three-year-old. The strings offer it in wide tracks with a shared target that eyes and hand aim at.

  • Diagonal lines both ways – down-left and down-right.
  • A shared target point trains eye–hand coordination.
  • Coloring the balloons: naming colors as a bonus.

💬 Tip for parents

If the child misses the palm, no problem — keep a finger on the palm as the target. A nice extra game: a real balloon on a string and its movement in the air drawn with a finger.
