Five narrower tracks from the bee to the flower: wave, upper arches, loops, zigzag and little waves. The movement shifts from the arm to the wrist and fingers.

Why is this sheet for ages 4–5?
Between four and five the movement shifts from the shoulder to the wrist and fingers. A narrower track and smaller shapes demand it – and loops and arches are the building blocks of cursive.
- Five shapes in one progression from simple to complex.
- Loops = preparation for cursive (e, l).
- An 8 mm track leads to a more precise but still relaxed stroke.
💬 Tip for parents
A narrower track and smaller shapes move the work from the shoulder to the wrist and fingers — preparation for writing. Watch the tripod grip (three fingers) and that the child is not pressing hard. Loops and arches are the building blocks of cursive; 5–10 minutes, ideally 2–3 times a week.
