In the print dialog choose actual size (100 %) and black and white. Add a thick triangular crayon.

Why is this sheet for ages 3–4?

Most sheets guide the hand left to right. The sun's rays make the child change direction – up, down, diagonal – and so train control of movement from the shoulder.

  • Lines in all directions, each with a clear start and finish.
  • A big circle – loosening the whole arm.
  • Flowers below: a reward and small finger coloring.

💬 Tip for parents

The rays are short on purpose — for three-year-olds a short stroke with a target is easier than a long line. If the child misses the dot, put your finger on the target dot: the hand goes where the eyes look.
