Ages 3–4🧮 Counting
Count to 4 – match the pictures to the same number of dots
Pictures on the left, dots like on a dice on the right. The child counts both and joins the ones with the same amount.
Done — the sheet is in your downloads
In the print dialog choose actual size (100 %) and black and white. Add a thick triangular crayon.
Why is this sheet for ages 3–4?
Dice dots are the first way of writing an amount that a child understands. The sheet links counting pictures with counting dots – no numerals yet.
- Amounts 1–4, each one exactly once, so the last pair works itself out.
- The dots are laid out like on a dice, familiar from board games.
- A line across the whole page is hand practice too.
💬 Tip for parents
Do you play dice games at home? This is the same skill. Start with what your child sees at once (one house, one dot) and work up. The line doesn't have to be straight – getting from dot to dot is enough.
