Puzzles and mazes for little kids
Mazes, shadows, odd one out, spot the difference, picture sudoku. Each puzzle trains one thing — attention, planning, sorting — and is pitched so a child of that age can do it alone.
Ages 3–4: wide corridors and one turn. Ages 4–5: dead ends, three differences and a first rule (sudoku).

Puzzles · ages 4–5Questions parents ask
What maze for a three-year-old?
Wide corridors, few turns, a clear start and finish. Trace the way with a finger first, then with a pencil.
What if the child goes through a wall?
Nothing dramatic — say “there's a fence here” and try another way. The goal is learning to stop and look, not a perfect line.
Is picture sudoku for preschoolers?
In the 4×4 version with pictures, yes, from ages 4–5. Say the rule in one sentence and solve the first square together.
